We have lost the account of the compilations of ‘Street Fighter’ that have been published during the last decades, but ‘Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection’ surpasses them all: 12 essential classics of the recreational and a more than generous ration of extra content what become the dream of any passionate saga.
Taking advantage of the final of the Capcom Cup 2017, it has been announced this collection of games that will come to consoles and PC to put the brooch to the 30 years of ‘Street Fighter’. The essentials: ‘Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection’ includes all the 2D recreational saga from the original ‘Street Fighter’ of 1987 and reaching ‘Street Fighter III: Third Strike’.
But in addition, four of these titles (Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike) can be played online in exhibition games, by rank, with gaming rooms and even with qualifying tables.
In playable terms, Capcom promises a perfect conversion of the recreational, but this edition also includes a festival of extras such as art galleries and conceptual art, a music file, an interactive Timeline and even a comparison of sprites in which to compare the evolution of the characters in each of the deliveries.
An accumulation of content that, along with the Arcade mode of ‘Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition’ will serve to commemorate 30 years of supercombos and street fights in style and that already has a date and platforms: ‘Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection’ will be available on May 28 on Xbox One, PS4, PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
