Cuphead Debuts on Steam: More Than 300,000 Copies Sold During the First Week

The wait has been well worth it: ‘Cuphead’ has dazzled critics and audiences thanks to a gameplay as fun as demanding and a spectacular art section. Something that has resulted in very healthy sales: to date, the MDHR studio shooter has sold 300,000 copies only on Valve’s digital platform.

As indicated from Steam Spy, ‘Cuphead’ has surpassed – by far – the barrier of the quarter of a million units sold on Steam. However, this report does not include the other two platforms that came on September 29: a GOG that offers DRM-free copies and a Windows Store that has the added advantage of offering the Xbox One and PC versions to purchase any of them thanks to the Play Anywhere program.

The impact of ‘Cuphead’ has been enormous and proof of this is that they already have their own Funko figures. In fact, the MDHR Studio does not rule out that we see it physically and even with a collector’s edition in the future. However, the most remarkable thing about ‘Cuphead’ is that it demonstrates that with total confidence in the project and a lot of development, you can have extraordinary results.
