These games, made with little or no effort, were placed in the market of Steam with the only objective to realize business with the collectible cards of Steam, something that Valve promised to attack in August.
The majority belonged to a same developer who launched the games under two different names: Silicon Echo Studios and Zonitron Productions. In the last two months 86 games were published under these two names.
These games were charged very cheaply and the developer asked a lot of keys to Valve to give them or to offer them for a ridiculous price. Players then bought and sold collectible Steam cards, of which a percentage of the profit falls to the developer.
