Just as Nintendo did yesterday with ‘Super Mario Odyssey’, in the Gamescom 2017 has issued a live gameplay session to show some novelty of ‘Metroid: Samus Returns’, the remake being developed by the MercurySteam team for Nintendo 3DS of this delivery that was originally published in Game Boy.
From what we can see in the video we are clear that the game will not only completely change its visual section, but also will introduce us new areas that did not exist in ‘Metroid II: Return of Samus’, as well as more final bosses who Will have to defeat and they will become more powerful than normal because of the infection that will cause them Metroid.
Another of the most important novelties we will find in the teleportation stations. These posts will be spread all over the map of the game and will be of great help to move quickly to another place. In addition, the gameplay also leaves us with a sequence in which a roller will try to crush Samus while the screen moves laterally little by little.
If all this was not enough, its officials have revealed during the session that, if certain requirements are met during the game, Chozo Memories can be unlocked. These sequences will serve to know more details of the history of ‘Metroid’, including some that have never been seen in the saga, to the point of showing a great secret related to all these memories.
Metroid Samus Returns Chozo Memories
With all this we could almost say that ‘Metroid: Samus Returns’ seems a totally new game and the moment to have it in our hands will arrive next September 15, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
