Microsoft and Spotify have announced that the streaming music platform has officially reached 34 markets on Xbox One today thanks to the integration of the music application into the console of the Redmond company. Among them are Spain and other European territories, such as UK, France, Italy, Germany, etc., as well as Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and, of course, American markets where the console has an official presence: USA ., Canada and Mexico.
Spotify allows users to customize the gaming experience through their saved music, pre-selected playlists and the full music catalog of the service in the background while the user enjoys their game.
The service is also available for users of the free mode and, of course, for paid subscribers.
“Music continues to be essential to create the ultimate gaming experience,” said Mikael Ericsson, executive of Spotify. “As of today, we’re really excited to offer Xbox One users the ability to choose their custom soundtrack while enjoying their favorite games.”
To start using Spotify on Xbox One the player must go to the Xbox Store and download and install the application titled “Spotify Music – for Xbox”. After that, they can log in with their usual data or create an account directly from the console.
